Artist
Born in 2006 in Hong Kong, Enoch Wong studied piano with Christina Kwok from 2014-2020.
He then moved to Bristol, UK, and has been studying with Robin Green. He is now in a gap year - which he has named “the Year to learn some Mozart and Schubert” - before starting on his Bachelor’s degree at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. He has learnt with various musicians across the UK and Europe, participated in courses such as MusicWorks, and has studied chamber music regularly at Lavethan over the past three years. Enoch also has some competition experience. Winner of the Kerr Memorial Prize and the Overseas Prize of the Royal Overseas League, last year he was the youngest pianist to be chosen for the preliminary round of the International Chopin Competition. Whilst aiming for a high level of artistry in his performance through both craftsmanship and full immersion within the music, Enoch is also in the process of trying to be more culturally informed, in order to get closer to the realm that the composers created.
