Following a visit to Italy in 1979, and the chance to pick up shards from the city of Bologna, I fell in love with decorative ceramics.
Since then I have followed 25 years painting birds and flowers, and recently some 25 years or more playing with form and abstraction. This conundrum continues to fascinate me . The use of colour is a tricky game, but hopefully you wiill agree that I have managed to combine the many facets of my discipline
I will also be showing some pieces I made and fired in a wood fired kiln, in collaboration with Chris Prindl. They are more muted but still display the world of Form and Decoration . I look forward to meeting some of you at the festival.
