Moorland Festival Orchestra

Following last year’s thrilling performance of Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, this group of excellent instrumentalists - based in the West Country, of mixed ages - unanimously voted to meet again for another concert at St Petroc’s.

Led by Krysia Osostowicz, the group is defined by its spirit of adventure and fresh approach to music. Donald Sturrock, an eminent scriptwriter, has taken up the challenge of bringing J.S. Bach back to life in Bodmin.

On a time-travel visit to Bodmin, amazed at how life has changed in 300 years, JS Bach introduces his dances, concertos and chorales to a family audience. The world may have moved on, but the music is alive and kicking!
